This Privacy Policy explains how Designwithpash (“Adorely”, “we”, “us”, “our”; GSTIN: 07BXGPT3103F1ZO) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you use adorely.in and related services (the “Service”). We act as the Data Fiduciary for personal data processed through the Service under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the applicable rules made under it.
By creating an account, submitting content, making a purchase, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. Where the law requires specific consent, we will seek it through a clear affirmative action.
1. Who this policy covers
- Creators: people who sign up and create a birthday page.
- Contributors: people who add a wish, message, or photo to a page via an invite link (no account required).
- Recipients and visitors: people who view a page via a shared link.
2. What we collect
- Account data (Creators): name, email address, and login information, including when you sign in with Google.
- Page content: photos, messages, captions, names, dates, and other content you add to a page, including content added by Contributors through invite links.
- Payment data: payment confirmation, amount, transaction reference, and related purchase metadata. We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves; those are handled by our payment partner.
- Usage and device data: pages visited, actions taken, approximate location at city level, device and browser type, and similar analytics data.
- Communications: messages or emails you send to our support or grievance contact.
3. Why we process your data
- To provide the Service, including creating, hosting, displaying, and sharing birthday pages.
- To operate accounts, including authentication, login, account management, and transactional emails.
- To process payments and maintain payment records as required by law.
- To provide support and respond to grievances.
- To keep the Service secure, including fraud prevention, abuse detection, and content moderation.
- To improve the Service through aggregated, de-identified analytics.
- Marketing, if you accept marketing cookies.To show you and people like you relevant ads for Adorely on advertising and social platforms, and to measure whether those ads work. This includes sharing a scrambled, unreadable version of your email address with those platforms so they can tell whether you already have an account. We never do this if you chose “Essentials only”.
We process personal data on the basis of your consent where required and, where applicable, for the performance of the Service you request, legal compliance, and legitimate platform operations. You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out and may mean we can no longer provide parts of the Service.
4. Photos and information about other people
Adorely pages are, by their nature, about other people, including the birthday person, friends, and family members shown in photos. When you upload a photo or information about another person, you confirm that you have the right to share it and, where appropriate, that person’s permission. If you are in a photo or are otherwise identified on a page and want it reviewed or removed, contact us at hello@adorely.app and we will assess the request promptly. We may remove content where we reasonably believe it violates privacy rights, law, or these policies.
5. Children
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, you may use Adorely only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who must agree to these terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly track children, serve targeted advertising to them, or process their data in ways likely to cause harm. Where a page celebrates a child’s birthday, the adult account holder remains responsible for having the authority to share the content.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it with service providers who help us run Adorely, under contracts requiring them to protect it:
- Cloud hosting, database, and storage providers that store account data and page content.
- Razorpay, for payment processing on adorely.in.
- Dodo Payments, for payment processing on adorely.app (our international storefront), where it acts as merchant of record for your purchase.
- Email delivery providers, for transactional email.
- Analytics providers, for usage analytics.
- Advertising and social platforms, only if you accepted marketing cookies. Currently Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), and other advertising platforms we may use in future. What they receive is a scrambled one-way version of your email address, never the address itself, so they can check whether you already have an Adorely account without us handing over a list of who our users are. We use this to stop showing sign-up ads to people who have already signed up, and to reach people whose birthday page is close to its big day.
This is the only sharing on this list that is optional, and it is the only one that stops the moment you change your mind. Choose “Essentials only” in the cookie banner, or email us at hello@adorely.app, and your details are excluded from every advertising list from that point on. Anything already shared before you withdrew cannot be pulled back out of a platform we do not control, so we ask them to delete it and they are contractually required to.
We may also disclose data where required by law, court order, or a government authority legally empowered to request it, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Adorely, our users, or the public.
7. Cross-border processing
Your data may be stored or processed by service providers operating outside India, subject to applicable Indian law and any restrictions notified by the Government of India. Payment-related data is handled through our payment partners and related infrastructure in accordance with applicable law and the policies of those providers. We require our processors to use appropriate security safeguards.
8. Retention
- Free-tier pages stop being visible when they expire, currently 2 days after the birthday the page celebrates (pages without a birthday date: 7 days after publication). Their photos and content are then permanently deleted 7 days later. Until that point an upgrade restores the same page at the same link; after it, the content cannot be recovered.
- Paid pages and their content are retained for the duration of the plan purchased. When a paid page expires it stops being visible, and its photos and content are permanently deleted 30 days later, after we have emailed the account holder about the deadline.
- Account data is retained while the account is active and is deleted within a reasonable period after deletion, except where law requires longer retention.
- Contributor content follows the lifecycle of the page it belongs to.
- We may retain minimal records for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or compliance purposes.
9. Your rights
To exercise your rights, email hello@adorely.app from the email linked to your account, or provide enough detail for us to identify the content if you are a non-account holder. We will verify identity where necessary and respond within the timelines prescribed by applicable law.
10. Security, and how your pages stay private
We use reasonable security safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we handle, including encryption in transit, access controls, and isolation of user data. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your data and to notifying you and the Data Protection Board of India of any personal data breach as required under applicable law.
Because Adorely pages hold family photos and private messages, it is worth being specific about what keeps them private. This is what the product actually does:
- Pages are unlisted. There is no directory, no public feed, and no way to search or browse pages on Adorely. Nothing you make appears next to anyone else’s.
- Search engines are told to stay out. Every page carries a no-index instruction, and pages are deliberately left out of our sitemap, so they are not built to be found through Google or any other search engine.
- A page needs its own secret link. The share link carries a secret key alongside the readable name. Without that key the address returns a holding screen with no name, no photos, and no messages on it. Guessing the readable part of the address gets a stranger nothing.
- You can add a secret code. On a published page you can set a short numeric code that a visitor must enter even after they have the link, so a link that gets forwarded still opens nothing on its own. We store a one-way scrambled version of the code, never the digits, which means nobody can read it back out, including us. If you forget it you set a new one. Repeated wrong entries are rate limited to stop anyone guessing their way in.
- The check happens inside the database. A page’s content is never sent to a visitor and then hidden from them. Until the link key and, where set, the code are correct, the content is never handed over at all.
- Access by us is limited and purposeful. A small number of authorised people can view account records and page content where it is necessary for support, billing, safety, abuse handling, or a legal obligation. We do not browse your pages otherwise, and we do not use their contents to train anything.
Two honest limits, so you can decide what to share. First, anyone you give the link to can open the page, and once a person can see a photo they can save or forward it, exactly as they could with a photo you sent them directly. Second, uploaded files are stored at long, unguessable web addresses so that pages load quickly; those addresses are not published anywhere, but a file address that somebody copies from a page they were shown keeps working until the page’s content is deleted on the schedule in section 8. A secret code protects the page; it does not recall a photo somebody already has. Treat an Adorely page the way you would treat sharing the photos themselves, and share the link only with people you would show them to.
11. Cookies
The banner gives you two choices and they mean exactly what they say.
- Essentials only. Login and the things the Service cannot work without. No analytics, no advertising, nothing shared with Meta or any other platform. Choosing this costs you nothing and changes nothing about the product.
- Accept all. The above, plus analytics cookies that tell us how people find Adorely, plus advertising cookies and the scrambled email match described in section 6.
You can change your mind whenever you like, and the new choice takes effect immediately. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may break parts of the Service.

13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service and the law evolve. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you by email or an in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
